Dr. Emily B. Fine, Ph.D. QME

Dr. Emily B. Fine, Ph.D., QME is a clinical and forensic neuropsychologist, licensed clinical psychologist, and qualified medical evaluator (QME), who has extensive experience conducting forensic psychology and neuropsychology evaluations, as well as evaluations of mental health and cognitive disorders for diagnostic and treatment purposes. She is also trained in numerous types of psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, including CBT, CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), EMDR, and DBT.

About Me

Over the last few years, Dr. Emily has noticed brain health education and prevention are largely missing from the healthcare field. During the course of her own struggles with an immune disorder, she learned how exposure to toxins can exacerbate one’s physical health. Through this lived experience, she naturally became curious and obtained further education on integrative approaches to brain health as well. Integrative Neuropsychology Education was borne out of her passion to help clients protect their brain and cognitive health throughout their lives.

Before transitioning to full-time private practice in 2020 and Integrative Neuropsychology Education in 2024, Dr. Emily worked as a staff neuropsychologist at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare for nearly 7 years, conducting neuropsychological and psychological evaluations of, and providing treatment to, culturally diverse patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), stroke, and spinal cord injuries. Many of these patients were also experiencing other co-morbid disorders, including, depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, learning disorders, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.

Dr. Emily earned her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and her B.A. (with departmental honors) from Stanford University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation and an Advanced Fellowship in Traumatic Brain Injury and Polytrauma in the VA Long Beach Healthcare System.
